Lobos Need You on November 20!
The FWS will hold a public hearing on its proposed rule changes for Mexican wolves on Wednesday, November 20 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Embassy Suites, 1000 Woodward Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Starting at 4 p.m., we will be offering information, materials, coffee, lobo art activities for kids, and support in the Ocotillo II room at the Embassy Suites.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service will open the hearing room at 5 pm so people can begin signing up to speak but we encourage you to come earlier if you can.
From 5:15 to 6 p.m. we invite you to join us outside the hearing location for a sidewalk rally to show public support for the Lobos! Please dress warmly.
6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Public Hearing
This is a historic opportunity. A critical mass of supporters in Albuquerque on November 20 can turn the tide for the Mexican gray wolf. Please save the date and spread the word.
Please attend the USFWS hearing in Pinetop, AZ on December 3rd as well. See details here.
