The Call of the Wild mural is a traveling collaborative public art installation advocating for wolves, wildlife and the Endangered Species Act. It celebrates the power of the pack, the strength of our collective voices working to shift the paradigm from a position of us vs them to one of co-existence.
Renowned eco-political artist Lauren Strohacker created the silhouettes of the “wolves” which serve as the canvas for the mural. The goal is to bring the mural to cities throughout the U.S. culminating in Washington D.C. The mural grows as it travels into a meaningful, powerful expression of humanity’s need to reconnect to nature.
