To the editor: I was so excited to see the Mexican grey wolf on the front page of the Daily Sun March 6. I know that for many of us, change is a difficult thing, but the reintroduction of the Mexican grey wolf is a welcome one. I hope that everyone will rejoice in the addition of this essential predator back into their home.

This region has been without the song of the wolf for far too long. I, for one, cannot wait to hear the cry of the wolf in our wilderness areas. With the recent decline of the wolf population in the White Mountains, it is evident that it is time to open the boundaries for further growth. I would love the wolf to once again run free as they were intended to do.
